PDMS/Ag/Mxene/Polyurethane Conductive Yarn as a Highly Reliable and Stretchable Strain Sensor for Human Motion Monitoring
2022
The conductivity and sensing stability of yarn-based strain sensors are still challenges when it comes to practical applications. To address these challenges, surface engineering of polyurethane (PU) yarn was introduced to improve its surface hydrophilicity for better deposition of MXene nanosheets in its dispersion.
Sports bra pressure: effect on body skin temperature and wear comfort
2022
Sports bras are an essential apparel for active women, but may exert excessive pressure that negatively affects thermoregulation, thermal comfort and wear sensation.
Influence of Upper Footwear Material Properties on Foot Skin Temperature, Humidity and Perceived Comfort of Older Individuals
2022
Studying the in-shoe microclimate of older individuals is important for enhancing their foot comfort and preventing foot diseases. However, there is a lack of scientific work that explores the thermo-physiological wear comfort of older individuals with different footwear.
Foot deformation analysis with different load-bearing conditions to enhance diabetic footwear designs
2022
In-depth analyses of foot surface measurements upon weight bearing are crucial to understand how the dorsal and plantar surfaces of the foot deform during motion to enhance the fit of footwear, which is particularly important for diabetic patients with stringent fit requirements to redistribute the plantar weight forces.
The Establishment of the Basic Version of Female Leggings
2022
This study aims to give an overview of the establishment of the basic version of leggings.
Intervention of arch support: A quantitative study
2022
Hallux valgus is a common foot deformity characterized by hypermobility of the first metatarsal ray. The lower longitudinal arch is an intrinsic factor related to the lateral drift of the hallux. This paper conducted a quantitative study on the improvement of the first metatarsal and arch condition by arch support and used finite element analysis to simulate the bone displacement with the intervention of arch support.
